The price of Brent oil exceeded $116 per barrel

The cost of the Brent brand exceeded $116 per barrel for the first time since September 9, 2013, according to trading data.

As of 05.48 GMT +3 time, the price of May futures for Brent crude jumped by 1.81% to $116.63 per barrel. April WTI futures rose 2.80% to $113.70.
