SBERBANK BEGAN TO COOPERATE WITH A BLOCKCHAIN STARTUP

The Swiss division of Sberbank entered into a partnership with the Komgo trading platform. The bank will use a blockchain platform to trade commodities and securities.

 

Komgo is a startup that has developed a decentralized trading platform on the Ethereum blockchain. 

 

The head of Sberbank's trading department, Evgeny Kravchenko, said that asset trading is one of the main strategic objectives of Sberbank Switzerland AG. According to him, Russia and the CIS countries are the key markets of the company, and the Swiss branch is engaged in international trade. 

 

Sberbank for a long time interested inblockchain and cryptocurrencies. Recall that earlier representatives of the bank announced that by next year they will issue their own digital coin called Sbercoin.
