Ripple company plans to get on with educational projects as a part of the Ripple for Good programme.
As the official press release reads, the company intends to spend $25 million for new public awareness fund, with an additional $80 million to be invested by the third parties.
"Ripple for Good will focus on applications and real-world use cases with the potential for scalable social impact," as Ripple noted in the statement.
For now, the company keeps selecting potential educational projects that can be included in the programme, though preference will be given to those dealing in engineering, maths and finance industry.
This is not the first educational activity of the company. In particular, earlier Rippler took part in charity and donated $50 million for universities worldwide under the June initiative for blockchain-related operations.
According to the available data, the programme will be developed in cooperation with non-commercial company RippleWorks that coordinates voluntary and public activities. For reference, the latter has already participated in 70 projects.
