REDDIT OFFICIALLY LAUNCHES ITS IPO PROCEDURE

Posted 20 December, 2021

Internet front page Reddit has officially launched its US listing process with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The company recently reached a valuation of $ 10 billion.

Reddit, a community site founded in 2005, announced that it had filed its initial public offering in the United States with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the country's federal body responsible for regulating and monitoring financial markets. The number of shares offered was not disclosed, as was the price range of the securities. The IPO will be effective after the SEC review process, Reddit said.

In September , rumors were already about an upcoming listing of the Internet front page on the stock market. A few weeks earlier, the company led by Steve Huffman had reached a valuation of more than $ 10 billion after raising $ 410 million.
