Main cryptocurrencies post gains

Posted 25 January, 2018

The main cryptocurrencies have increased in price on Thursday driven by softer concerns about crypto trading tightening.

Specifically, the Bitfinex recorded bitcoin at $11,320.00 and the Ethereum – $1,071.

Ripple changed hands on the Poloinex at $1.33.

In the first half of the week, the market witnessed selloff series given Seoul's statement about the ban on anonymous accounts for crypto trading to come into force since January 30.

As it was reported earlier, with highly speculative crypto trading, South Korea is considering different ways to control virtual currency trading. The measures under discussion include complete closure either of all exchanges for cryptocurrencies or just illegal ones.

Today the representative of the Bank of Japan stated that the global crypto trading regulation will be a real challenge. At the same time, the head of payment system department in the Bank of Japan commented that the government is striving to achieve the rules that wouldn't hamper the development and innovations.
