Kraken platform introduces new options

Posted 31 July, 2019

Kraken cryptocurrency platform has announced an expansion of the services. The new options have been implemented in cooperation with Etana Custody, which enables users to deal with fiat currencies. The announcement was made on Kraken's website this Monday.

According to the notice, customers have become able to make deposits in five major currencies – USD, EUR, CAD, GBP and JPY via Etana Custody.

At the same time, new options are limited and are available only to customers who have Intermediate and Pro accounts.

"In collaboration with Etana Custody, almost every Kraken client across 180+ countries has access to new funding options in five major currencies," noted in the message.

The report states that Etana Custody Wallet is directly related to Kraken accounts. Traders only need to create and check their Etana wallet in order to transfer funds from their bank accounts.

Besides, this collaboration is said to make it possible to open markets through the Meta Trader trading platforms (MT-4 and MT-5).

For reference, Etana Custody, headquartered in Auckland, offers solutions for storing digital assets.

The company offers services for the conversion of fiat currencies, so Kraken customers can transfer deposits in any supported currency and convert them to any of the five fiat currencies.
