Huobi considers P2P business in India

Following the global expansion targets, the Huobi exchange has announced a new P2P platform for INR-crypto trading. The company has sent the corresponding e-mail notice to its Indian users. 

As the local media reported, the new business is said to provide commission-free trading and exchange services (bitcoin, Ethereum and Tether).

"We do think it’s time that we provide a solution of buying/selling digital assets with INR for all Indian users: Huobi OTC – a proprietary peer-to-peer (P2P) platform that allow [s] users and merchants to trade digital assets with your local currencies," the company stated in the report. 

According to the media, Huobi is yet to make an official statement on this matter, though it has already confirmed the originality of the e-mail notice.

"Every registered Indian user of Huobi can log in to to trade digital assets with INR,” added the company spokesperson. 

It is worth mentioning, that the Supreme Court of India is to approve the pack of rules for cryptocurrency segment this September. For reference, the Court postponed the hearing on crypto restrictions till September.

Earlier, the company also announced the launch of Huobi Cloud service which might help users create their own trading platforms.
