Growth in the euro zone confirmed at 0.3% in the fourth quarter
Seasonally-adjusted GDP rose 0.3% in the eurozone in the fourth quarter after rising 2.3% in the previous three months. In comparison with the same quarter of the previous year, GDP shows an increase of 4.6% after +4% in the third quarter. Data consistent with Eurostat's flash estimate. Over the whole of 2021, GDP increased by 5.3% in the eurozone.
