Ethereum rate rose by 13% and rose to a maximum in a month

On Monday, July 18, the Ethereum rate reached a local maximum of $1.43 thousand, the maximum since June 13. Over the past weekend, the price of cryptocurrency increased by 13%. Ethereum has a market capitalization of $171 billion with daily trading volumes of $17 billion, according to CoinGecko.

Back on Friday, July 15, the Ethereum rate began to show growth against the backdrop of the news that one of the last tests before the Ethereum 2.0 update was successfully completed. The price of the second largest cryptocurrency by capitalization on that day crossed the mark of $1.2 thousand.

Bitcoin and other altcoins also showed growth. The cost of BTC rose by 2.6% per day, to $21.8 thousand, and the price of Binance Coin increased by 1.3%, to $257. The total capitalization of cryptocurrencies amounted to $1.04 trillion, the daily trading volume was $97 billion.
