Trading platform analysts predicted which direction of the crypto industry will be popular among large companies in the next year.
Crypto.com digital asset trading platform analysts have released a forecast for 2022, in which they named the metaverse as the most promising sector of the crypto market. According to analysts, the segment of the metaverse this year will grow exponentially, opening up the direction of GameFi (decentralized games) and NFT (non-fungible tokens) for large companies.
As one of the world's largest companies, Meta (formerly Facebook), has already joined the metaverse trend, other big players will follow, Crypto.com said.
"Facebook Inc., which owns the social network of the same name, as well as services Instagram, WhatsApp, and others, announced its name change to Meta Platforms on October 28. Thus, the corporation wanted to associate with its new product Metaverse - the metaverse."
In November, Crypto.com struck a 20-year deal with AEG, which owns the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The arena will be renamed Crypto.com Arena on December 25th. The stadium is home to world-renowned clubs such as the Los Angeles Clippers and Los Angeles Laker's basketball courts and the Los Angeles King's hockey club. It is the only arena in the National Basketball League that is home to two teams.
