Coinbase closes Coinbase Bundle without a word

Posted 19 July, 2019

The US-based cryptocurrency trading platform – Coinbase – announced the closure of Coinbase Bundle, which became clear from the FAQ on the company's website. However, there were no official statements from the company.

Coinbase Bundle used to allow users to make investments in cryptocurrency basket rather than buy each of the coins. Coinbase rolled out the service back in September 2018 with investments beginning from $25.

It was offered a basket of 5 coins – bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash and Ethereum Classic.

The FAQ reads:

"Coinbase Bundle purchases have been deprecated, as such all assets purchased in the Coinbase Bundle have been redistributed to their respective individual asset wallets."

It should be mentioned that the Bundle service was designed to replace the cryptocurrency fund for accreditated traders. The fund enabled users to diversify funds, though the minimum limit was set at $250,000. The service was closed last October.
