The Block.one project has announced the first version of the EOSIO blockchain software. The release was made in line with the MIT license.
According to the company report, with the EOSIO developers will be able to design business concepts "compatible with consensus algorithms that demand deterministic execution".
"Block.one is pleased to release version 1.0 of our open source EOSIO blockchain software. This software enables businesses to rapidly build and deploy high-performance and high-security blockchain-based applications," the press release reads.
The new software was reportedly developed to run in the without-token environment, where system administrators distribute potentially unlimited resource quotas.
Besides, users can adjust EOSIO for application to one of two Web Assembly engines – Binaryen and WAVM. According to the specifications, the blockchain is capable of supporting up to 1000 TPS, while the next versions are expected to feature instruments that will help to simplify inter-blockchain communication.
The full list of features of the new EOSIO software is given on the project's website.
