Bittrex adds trading of ETC and XRP vs US dollar

Bittrex announced a launch of new trading pairs in the USD market. The company spokesperson commented that the new service will be available for their clients beginning from August 20.

The exchange will reportedly expand trading with ETC and XRP against the US dollar. At the same time, earlier the US dollar could be traded against bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether and TrueUSD.

Bittrex stated that they may gradually add new cryptos to the US dollar market to boost trading and secure high-level quality before launching for high-skilled investors. 

"As we continue expanding fiat markets to the top tokens on Bittrex, we’re not only offering customers a streamlined experience to purchase digital coins on Bittrex directly with US dollars, but we’ll also be offering customers USD trading pairs that may only be found on our platform. We’re going to continue adding tokens to our USD markets, providing our customers even more convenient, fast and secure trading options as well as access to some of the world’s most innovative blockchain projects," the company statement reads.

Bittrex opened trading of US dollar vs bitcoin, Tether and TrueUSD this May.

For reference, the exchange was set up in 2014, and in about a month after its launch, one of the founders expressed intentions to launch fiat trading for the majority of users. According to the current data, the platform ranks 24 among the leading crypto exchanges with a daily trading of $60 million.
