Bitcoin up 10% after crashing below $18,000

The cryptocurrency is recovering in price after its quotes fell to a record low of $17.6 thousand on Sunday and the asset updated its lowest level since December 2020.

Bitcoin capitalization is $382 billion with daily trading volumes of $31 billion, according to CoinGecko. The share of cryptocurrency in the market has grown to 41.6%.

Over the past day, altcoins have also risen in price. In particular, the price of Ethereum rose by 13% to $1,000, while the value of Binance Coin increased by 8% to $208. The total market capitalization grew by 8% and reached $919 billion.
