Bitcoin exchange rate fell to $19.6 thousand and approached a minimum since mid-July

On September 1, the bitcoin rate fell to $19.6 thousand, approaching a minimum since mid-July, when the first cryptocurrency fell below $19.5. As of 19:00 Moscow time, the asset is trading at $19.8 thousand, over the past day it has fallen in price by 1.8%.

Bitcoin has a market capitalization of $377 billion with daily trading volumes of $25 billion, according to CoinGecko. The share of cryptocurrency in the market is at around 37.5%.

Altcoins have also fallen in price over the past 24 hours. The cost of Ethereum decreased by 1%, to $1.52 thousand, and the rate of Binance Coin — by 2.9%, to $273. The overall market estimate for the day decreased by 2.2%, to $1 trillion.
