Binance to return to US market in two months

Posted 16 August, 2019

In mid-September, US users will not be able to work on the company's main exchange; a separate platform will be launched for them. The head of the company, Changpeng Zhao, said in an interview that the Binance Cryptocurrency Exchange will launch a division in the USA within two months.

He stressed that the platform began to cooperate with the local company BAM Trading Services, which will help to get comfortable in the conditions of American financial regulators.

"There are a lot of things in flux, but I would say [we'll launch] in a month or two." - said Zhao.

He called the American financial market one of the most developed. According to the head of Binance, the regulatory uncertainty in the United States regarding cryptocurrencies is due to the fact that digital money is a new phenomenon, and the United States is a large country with various departments and a very large market that is more difficult to regulate.

"The U.S. historically has made very clear regulations, so we hope that will clear up, at the same time, some early adopters in this space will be better rewarded. There are uncertainties in the regulatory space, but we're willing to try." - stressed the head of the exchange.

Initially, traders from New York will not get access to the Binance US exchange. This will happen only after the company receives a BitLicense.
