Posted 24 September, 2019

Binance Cryptocurrency Exchange has announced successful passing the compliance certification with the information security management standard ISO / IEC 27001. The trading platform was verified and certified by the international classification society DNV GL and the UK Accreditation Service (UKAS).

"Binance has received ISO27001 accreditation, certified by the DNV & UKAS, two world-renowned international accreditation bodies. We are proud to be among the first global crypto-asset platforms to receive ISO27001 accreditation, & the first certified by the DNV & UKAS," the company tweeted

The certification covered tests under 114 criteria in 14 categories, including security policy, asset management, the security of operations, acquisition, development, and maintenance of information systems.

The platform was seriously concerned about security issues after it lost 7,000 BTC after the hack in May. Hackers began to launder bitcoins on June 12, about a month later after the attack.

In addition, one of the white hackers claimed that he allegedly managed to track down the attackers who attacked the crypto-exchange. However, the criminals have not yet been detained.
